Job Summary
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of: Dental school generalist teaching model integrated interprofessional care and competency-based education and assessment methodology. Accepted non-surgical and surgical protocols for the periodontal management of patients. Computer software to include World Excel AxiUm and PowerPoint. Experience: Minimum two years teaching experience in an accredited dental school setting. Minimum of five years practice experience. Education DDS / DMD or equivalent. Certificate of Proficiency in Periodontics from a recognized U.S. post-doctoral program. Valid CPR certificate. Working Conditions: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may be reasonably anticipated. Personal protective equipment is expected to be utilized. Position requires coordination of a variety of duties in occasionally stressful non-clinical and clinical situations. Requires occasional attendance at weekend/evening events and meetings.
