As an Installer you are the boots-on-the-ground expert ensuring our cutting-edge wireless vibration sensors are deployed perfectly safely and efficiently.
The Role
We are looking for a technically-minded hands-on professional who thrives in industrial environments and loves to travel. You wont just be bolting things onyou will be configuring networks performing site walkdowns and acting as the technical face of I-care for our clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Precision Installation: Install test and maintain wireless vibration sensors on critical assets like pumps motors and gearboxes.
Technical Execution: Use hand tools power tools and specialized software to configure networks and ensure seamless data collection.
On-site Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve sensor or network connectivity issues to ensure 100% system uptime.
Site Walkdowns: Lead preliminary inspections to determine hardware requirements and network mapping.
Documentation: Deliver high-quality technical reports and data analysis to ensure both the client and our engineering teams have accurate insights.
Safety Leadership: Maintain a safety first mindset adhering to I-care and client-specific safety protocols (LOTO PPE etc.).
Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree from a Technical/Vocational school in a mechanical or electrical field is highly preferred.
Experience: 1 years of experience in a mechanical or electrical trade or apprenticeship. Basic knowledge of industrial machinery (compressors motors) is a must.
Road Warrior Mentality: You must be willing and able to travel up to 80% of the time including international assignments.
Physical Agility: Ability to climb ladders/scaffolding work in confined spaces and stand for extended periods. You must be comfortable with the physical demands of a plant environment.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Windows MS Office (Word/Excel) and quick to learn specialized installation and configuration software.
Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to communicate technical value to clients clearly and professionally.
