Job Summary

We are looking to recruit AREA SALES OFFICER (ASO) Pre-Order Model. The successful candidates will be responsible for collecting orders from supermarkets and ensuring effective in-store execution.

Job Description

  • In-Store Execution: Ensure 100% product availability and optimal visibility at all times.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and buying teams across major supermarkets.
  • Stock & Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations and coordinate with distributors and dispatch teams for timely replenishment.
  • Coverage: Visit assigned supermarkets daily record stock levels and generate orders for at least 15 supermarkets in line with the assigned route plan.
  • Debt Collection: Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely debt recovery where applicable.
  • SFA Usage: Ensure all generated orders are accurately captured in the SFA system at the point of sale (POS).
  • DMS Compliance: Ensure all orders are transmitted to the distributors DMS and processed for dispatch accordingly.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities pricing and gather consumer feedback to support business decisions.




Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
  • 15 years of relevant experience in FMCG specifically within the supermarket channel.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders across different levels.
  • Proficiency in using SFA and DMS systems.




Benefits

Remuneration: 114000.00 gross monthly salary plus float allowance (where applicable)


Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. At least one experience in sales willing to grow career in sales Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and support the sales team. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Sound knowledge of sales techniques customer relationship management and market analysis. Ability to travel within the designated area to meet clients and oversee sales activities.
