Lodge Manager & Admin / Accounts Couple Luxury Lodge KwaZulu-Natal
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager & Admin / Accounts Couple for a luxury lodge located in KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a couple with strong operational guest-facing and administrative experience to join a high-end hospitality environment.
Salary: R40000 R50000
Accommodation: Live-in position
Key Responsibilities
Lodge Manager
Oversee day-to-day lodge operations with a strong focus on guest experience
Anticipate guest needs and ensure personalised high-end service delivery
Manage and support lodge staff ensuring strong team performance and morale
Oversee the Head Chef with a focus on quality control and consistency
Ensure smooth coordination between all lodge departments
Maintain operational standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations
Assist with food and beverage stock control and ordering processes
Admin / Accounts
Manage lodge administration and support operational requirements
Handle reservations and ensure accurate guest billing and account checks
Assist with basic financial processes (no heavy accounting required)
Work with systems such as Pastel and reservation/accounting platforms
Ensure accuracy in guest accounts and daily financial reconciliation
Support stock takes and purchasing processes where required
Requirements
510 years experience in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
Strong guest service orientation with the ability to read guests
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff
Solid administrative skills with attention to detail
Experience with reservations systems and guest billing processes
Working knowledge of Pastel and lodge accounting systems advantageous
Hands-on practical approach with initiative and common sense
Strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
