Role: Accountant / Account Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Ø Manage daily accounting and administrative operations for the restaurant
Ø Maintain accurate financial records including sales expenses and supplier transactions
Ø Cross-check and verify all receipts payments and invoices to ensure accuracy
Ø Identify discrepancies or errors in financial records and take corrective action
Ø Monitor and manage accounts payable including invoice tracking and payment scheduling
Ø Download organize and maintain up-to-date invoices and financial documentation
Ø Maintain and review aging reports and follow up to ensure timely payments
Ø Support cash flow management by tracking daily inflows and outflows
Ø Source new suppliers where needed and support cost-effective purchasing
Ø Build and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
Ø Coordinate with suppliers regarding invoices deliveries and payments
Ø Handle basic administrative duties including record-keeping and documentation
Ø Attend and respond to calls emails and internal communication promptly
Ø Assist management with reports and operational support as required
Requirements
At least 2 years previous experience in accounting roles (restaurant or retail experience is a plus)
Ø Strong attention to detail especially in verifying financial transactions
Ø Good communication skills and ability to deal with suppliers and team members
Ø Organized and proactive in managing records and follow-ups
Ø Advanced to intermediate knowledge of accounting software like Sage Quick Books Xero and Advanced Microsoft Excel
Ø Ability to identify issues and take initiative to resolve them
