POSITION: CNC LASER OPERATOR

1. Role Identity & Purpose
Job Title: CNC Laser Operator
Department: Production Fabrication
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Shop Floor In-Charge
Location: Manufacturing Unit Kaggalipura Banglaore Karnataka
Role Purpose
To operate and optimize CNC laser cutting machines to ensure accurate timely and cost-efficient
cutting of sheet metal components used in electrical panel enclosures while maintaining strict
quality and safety standards.

Ensures dimensional accuracy of panels (quality compliance)
Minimizes material wastage (cost control)
Supports on-time production schedules (delivery performance)
Reduces rework and rejection rates (operational efficiency)
2. Key Outcomes (Deliverables Focused)
Expected Measurable Outcomes
1. Achieve 95% first-pass yield on laser-cut parts
2. Maintain machine uptime 90%
3. Ensure 2% material wastage per batch
4. Complete assigned cutting schedules within planned timelines
5. Zero major safety violations
6. Ensure correct revision control of CAD files
7. Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule

3. Competence Requirements
Technical Competence
Operation of Air CNC laser machines
Blueprint/Drawing reading
Precision measurement tools (vernier micrometer)
Knowledge of MS SS Aluminium sheet
Functional Competence
Job setup planning
Material nesting optimization
Problem diagnosis (burn marks burrs distortion)
Basic machine troubleshooting
Leadership (Not Applicable Individual Contributor Role)
4. Experience & Qualification
Must Have:
ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist)
23 years laser cutting experience
CAD file handling exposure
Good to Have:
Experience in electrical panel enclosure manufacturing
Experience in Trumpf / Amada machines
