The Helpdesk Admin Specialist will provide professional technical and administrative support to long-term care facilities participating in Medicaid programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented customer-focused individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced service-driven environment and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners. A high level of professionalism discretion and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality is essential for success in this position.
Essential Functions:
Answering incoming calls from Medicaid certified Long Term Care facilities from several states; The calls concern technical transmission sequencing and logical issues with the completion and transmission of clinical records and data files Data entry used in adjusting nursing facility reimbursement rates Assist in maintaining web based portal for secure report distribution Make outgoing calls to nursing facilities to aid in resolving data integrity issues Develop ad-hoc data analysis queries using SQL (Desired) Support group of nurse reviewers by preparing review data and packets prior to field work Prepare various documents which may include reports memos letters responses to correspondence surveys spreadsheets and presentations Perform general office duties such as scanning/copying documents and preparing mailings Maintain security of and confidentiality of all protected health information Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
2 years experience in office environment preferred
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools specifically Excel and Word
Strong math customer service skills
Possess strong data entry and typing skills
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Be well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Possess ability to quality review own work and work of peers
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization both internally and externally
Must be a team player who works well with a group
Ability to work with minimal supervision while fulfilling all obligations
