Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a highly responsible and engaging Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests at our exclusive lodge pool area. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe environment while contributing to the overall high-end guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of the swimming pool and immediate area to prevent accidents.
- Enforce all swimming pool policies rules and regulations clearly and courteously.
- Respond to emergencies swiftly and efficiently performing water rescues and administering CPR/First Aid as required.
- Perform routine checks of pool chemical levels and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck loungers and surrounding areas.
- Assist with general guest service inquiries and ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Requirements
minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Current and valid Lifeguard certification (e.g. Pool Lifeguard Open Water certification if applicable to lodge environment).
- Current certification in CPR AED and First Aid.
- Proven experience as a Lifeguard or Pool Attendant preferably within a luxury hotel resort or game lodge environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and a strong commitment to guest safety and service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
