Armed Guard Officer Grade C

• Conducting regular patrols of the premises.
• Monitoring access control and searching suspicious persons or vehicles.
• Preventing theft vandalism and unauthorized access.
• Responding to alarms incidents and emergency situations.
• Carrying and handling firearms in accordance with legal and company procedures.
• Writing incident and occurrence reports.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies and safety procedures.
• Assisting employees visitors and clients when required.
• Liaising with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Supervising security risks and maintaining order on site.

• Matric /Grade 12
• Valid PSIRA Grade C Certificate
• Grade 10 /11 report with minimum of 5 years experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in the security industry.
• Experience as an Armed Guard/Armed Response Officer
• Proven exposure to high-risk environments (mining industrial)
• Firearm Competency Certificates for all three categories (including business purpose):
• Medical fitness certificate
• No criminal record (SAPS fingerprint clearance)
• Valid drivers licence (Code 8/B or higher depending on site)
• Must reside in Secunda

• Excellent firearm handling and safety knowledge
• Observation and reporting skills
• Communication proficiency (radio & verbal)
• Knowledge of access control patrol procedures.
• Basic computer literacy for report writing (advantageous)
