Commercial Escrow Assistant

6-month contract/temp assignment

Start Date: April 6 2026

Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00/hourly

A Commercial Escrow Assistantsupports escrow officers by managing the administrative clerical and documentation processes for commercial property sales and loans. They prepare closing documents coordinate with all parties (buyers sellers lenders) handle funds and ensure compliance with regulations to facilitate smooth transactions.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Provides escrow services for commercial transactions.
• Documentation & Files:Preparing reviewing and tracking escrow instructions deeds and title documents.
• Transaction Coordination:Serving as a primary point of contact for parties involved including coordinating with lenders and agents.
• Financial Handling:Assisting in the preparation of settlement statements and overseeing the deposit and disbursement of funds.
• Closing Procedures:Setting up managing and closing complex commercial files while clearing title issues.
• Compliance:Ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as corporate policies including wire fraud prevention.
• Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers throughout the closing process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel Word
• High School Diploma

*You are Eligible to participate in the benefits program if you are considered a full-time employee of nextSource working at least 30 hours per week on a consistent basis. Your coverage will be effective on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
