Leidos Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a PCBA 2nd Ops Lab Manager to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. Candidate will be responsible for leadership of a technician team that completes 2nd operations of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). The type of work includes PCBAs that require AS9100 processing including hand soldering press fit de-panel conformal coating and inspection. This position will lead the team of IPC certified technicians that work on a variety of products including military and space customers

Primary Responsibilities
- This position will have day to day responsibilities for Safety Quality Delivery Cost and Moral goals of the PCBA 2nd Ops team.
- Leading efforts for 5S in PCBA lab.
- Manage production effort of low medium and high complexity PCBAs.
- Communicate with customers (internal or external) to provide updates on both schedule and cost
- Will be responsible for providing employee feedback and any disciplinary matters
- Reviewing and approving time sheets and verification for accuracy
- Enforcing / following company policies as applicable
- Engaging with peers to share best practices
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or Masters with 2-6 years or prior relevant work lieu of a degree a Highschool Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience will be considered
- Applicants must have strong experience working with teams.
- Experience leading a team.
- Ability to multi-task and meet multiple objectives over similar time periods.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or prior certification in J-STD-001 and IPC-610 soldering certification within the last 5 years.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65650.00 - $118675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
