Associate Banker – Disruptive Commerce & Internet- Associate

As a Associate Banker on the Disruptive Commerce and Internet team youll help grow and retain profitable client relationships with some of the worlds most innovative companies . Youll collaborate across the firm to bring the full platform to clients while supporting bankers on acquisition and ongoing relationship management

Job responsibilities

• Support bankers in developing new business and deepening existing relationships by coordinating credit and payments solutions and leading targeted internal discussions to deliver the entire firm to clients
• Help build the teams brand inmarket positioning the platform as the leading innovationeconomy bank serving the best and most diverse clients
• Source and qualify prospects by leveraging referral networks and ecosystem relationships with a focus on reaching diverse founders powering innovation .
• Champion a culture of innovation and customer centricity while balancing prudent risk management across credit operational and reputational dimensions
• Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships and translate insights into client conversations and solutions
• Collaborate independently and as part of a dynamic team to coordinate resources and deliver bestinclass client experiences across the firms capabilities

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• 2 years of related experience in commercial banking credit venture/innovation economy or adjacent financial services
• Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services with demonstrated sales management and business development skills
• Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships; strong interpersonal and influencing skills with credibility among senior business and control partners
• Selfdirected proactive and creative; exercises sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
• FINRA Series 79 Series 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Bachelors degree and formal credit training preferred
• Strong team orientation and a passion for the innovation economy; eager to contribute to a national team of likeminded bankers
