About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing security fire alarm and technology firm delivering comprehensive solutions to commercial industrial and residential clients across the Pacific Northwest. They are targeting 100% growth over the next several yearscreating significant opportunity for high performers ready to grow with them.

The Opportunity

They are looking for a Business Development Manager to establish and grow their presence in the Seattle market with a clear path to transition into a Branch Manager role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business developing key relationships and laying the foundation for a future branch location.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Build and grow a book of business in the Seattle market through disciplined prospecting pipeline management and closing activity
  • Generate leads through cold calling networking referrals and industry relationshipswithout relying solely on company-provided leads
  • Develop relationships with general contractors electrical contractors commercial clients healthcare facilities educational institutions and public sector entities
  • Present and sell electronic access control video surveillance intrusion alarm systems fire/life safety systems and other integrated technology solutions
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and deliver customized proposals
  • Maintain a strong close rate on both self-generated and company-provided opportunities

Market Development & Leadership

  • Establish the companys presence in the Seattle market and act as the local point of contact
  • Identify growth opportunities and build a pipeline that supports long-term expansion
  • Contribute to future hiring and team development as the Seattle branch grows
  • Transition into a Branch Manager role as the market and team are established

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records including activity pipeline stages and forecasted revenue
  • Provide insight into market trends competitive landscape and growth opportunities
  • Demonstrate disciplined pipeline management and forecasting

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Required

  • 5 years of B2B sales experience with a track record of consistent quota attainment
  • Hunter mentalityself-directed and capable of building a territory from the ground up
  • Experience managing complex multi-touch sales cycles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional presence with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
