$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:
Position: Diagnostic Imaging Assistant
Location: Northwest Community Hospital Arlington Heights IL
Full-Time
Hours: Mon-Fri 10:30am-7pm. Rotating Saturdays from 6:30am-3pm.
What you will do:
The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will assist the Technologist with explaining the procedure to patients and their families and obtain history from the patient. The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will also act as a receptionist maintain supply inventory and assist with scheduling and pre-registration services.
What you will need:
Education: A High School diploma or GED and strong computer proficiency required.
Certification: CPR certification required within 30 days of hire date.
Experience: One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting especially in direct patient care roles preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy with keyboarding skills of 35-40 wpm preferred.
Excellent telephone etiquette required.
Previous Windows experience is required.
Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience with healthcare information systems including PACS is preferred.
