EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program Masters degree preferred
LICENSURE CERTIFICATION and/or REGISTRATION:
- Current applicable state Medical Board Medical License
- Certified by NCCPA
Essential Functions:
- Patient evaluation
- Discuss treatment plans with patients
- Interact with patients and referring physicians
- Gain competence with office-based procedures including sclerotherapy michrophlebectomy and duplex evaluation
- Work closely with the attending physician (Dr. Regan)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ultrasound and sclerotherapy experience are desirable but not required
- Experience with vascular assessment and management desirable but not required
- Applicant will receive training from Dr. Regan with the goal of functioning independently
Work Environment:
- Outpatient vein clinic (Wake Forest Heart and Vascular) with high procedural volume including symptomatic and cosmetic patients
- Small efficient staff with a strong team orientation
