Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the highly skilled discipline specifictechnical operationsof Show Control/Show Systemswithin Universal Horror Unleashed(UHU). Completes installations routine maintenance and repairs asassignedtoensure showquality and positive guest experience. Ensures safety of self guestsand other Team Members by taking proper safety precautionsfollowing both state and company specific standards. Provides installationsshow control modificationsand re-programmingfortheassistancefor anyEntertainmentsetand designchangesforthe operation seasonal offerings andspecial eventsensuring proper installation from a safety and design perspective.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as key Show Controls/Show Systemstechnicalexpert for Universal Horror Unleashed. Installsoperates andmaintainsshow control and show system technology and equipment as designed. Completes routine maintenance on allshow control and show systemsequipment to ensure safety standards and proper daily operation. Supports show control modifications and re-programmingeffortsin partnership with Entertainmentformaintainingthe creative intent andintegration of new concepts/designs.
Performsroutine inspections and preventative measuresincluding but not limited to file andshow systems equipment checksandtestingarchivingandbacking up show files installation and maintenancereviews ofsoftware updatesandleadingcalibration or replacement of Show Control components as needed on the UHUShow Control show control systems includeMedialon Q-SYS Arduino RaspberryPIand Networked systems (audio lighting video) and morewhich requirecontinuous inspections to ensurean efficientoperation.
Troubleshootssystem failures and provide immediate and long-term corrective actions that will improve operation reliability and safety. Involves researching solutions for defective componentsand instructional information to complete the repair process whenrequired. This entails logical extensive troubleshootingreferencing oftechnical drawings/manuals and specifications and tracking history of past failures and solutions.
Assistsin implementing show quality and performance standards as defined by Entertainment and Technical data entry into a logged tracking systemincludinginspections corrective actions and/or repairs made while listing parts required andutilizedto maintain accuracy of usage.
Responsible for effectively communicating necessary informationpertaining tothe technical operation of UHU to both upper management and affected Team Members. Completes necessary reporting through the propersystemsincludingMaximoto ensure effective communication between shifts as well as with Technical Management and Technical Coordinators.
Maintains a working knowledge of Q-SYS and otherEntertainmentshow systems staying up to date with industry standards tools technologies to find more efficient ways tooperateand high show all state and company mandated training andmaintainsanyrequired license renewals.
Understand and activelyparticipatein Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDXpolicy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:Toperform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities (KSAs)required.

Knowledge ofMedialon Q-SYS Arduinoand Raspberry PI Programming.
Experience incomputernetworking infrastructureand troubleshootingsystems.

Strong Problem-Solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a team environment.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

Any required local and state certifications including OSHA 10 and Q-SYS Level 1. Q-SYSLevel 2VisionSuiteCertification is preferred.
Must be able to obtain Non-Gaming work card upon employment.

EDUCATION:

Associatesdegreein related fieldispreferred.

EXPERIENCE:

3yearsofshow controls/show systemsexperienceisrequired 1 year of experiencewithin the professional entertainment or themed entertainment industryispreferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
