What Youll Do:
Lead and supervise contractors ensuring quality work and accountability
Perform maintenance and repairs across HVAC electrical mechanical plumbing and life safety systems
Handle preventive and predictive maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently
Respond to building emergencies and after-hours issues as needed
Inspect facilities identify system deficiencies and recommend improvements
Mentor junior technicians and provide hands-on training
Use CMMS/BMS systems to track work orders maintenance and materials
Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to optimize operations
What You Bring:
5 years of HVAC experience (Senior/Lead level preferred)
2 years of experience leading or managing teams
EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
Strong experience with boilers and building management systems (BMS)
Journeyman Refrigeration License (preferred)
GMP experience (a plus)
Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical systems
Experience with CMMS and/or BMS platforms
Valid drivers license
Additional Experience That Stands Out:
Commercial/industrial HVAC systems (DX units RTUs chillers chilled water systems)
VFDs pumps motors and fluid systems
Reading mechanical/electrical drawings
Exposure to systems like Johnson Controls Siemens or similar
Work Environment: This is an active hands-on role requiring lifting (up to 50 lbs) climbing ladders (up to 30 ft) and working in varying conditions (heat cold heights). Youll also need flexibility to support occasional after-hours or emergency situations.
