Fabrication Technician

Job Summary:Fabricator / Welding Technician is responsible for reading blueprints taking measurements and determining the best welding method for each job and set up components as Functions of the Job: Plans and coordinates with Supervisor/Manager details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting and welding techniques and assembles and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be organizes and cleans equipment and the work supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are with coworkers to effectively complete in project team meetings on an as-needed be able to weld components that are vertical flat or have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision be able to see details at close be able to lift up to 75 pounds at be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing balancing lifting walking stooping and carrying other related duties as Accountabilities:SafetyAdheres to all plant safety rulesReports all near misses and accidents to the production supervisor and or HR representativeServes an active role the plant safety programs by participating in monthly safety inspections and reporting any potential safety hazards to the safety committee or ManagementQuality:Adheres to all Quality Assurance System guidelinesFollows SOPs and SSOPs (standard operating procedures and sanitation standard operating procedures) when making processing adjustments to ensure the manufacturing of high-quality liquid based for compliance with GMPs HACCP and SQF programsIdentifies all critical control points (CCP) understanding their functions it relates to the prepares and maintains processing area documentation.
