GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Marketing and Communications Specialist at Director level to support the
Julius Baer business across India and Global NRI markets including
Dubai Singapore Hong Kong and Zurich. The role will be based in
Mumbai India and will focus on developing and executing marketing
brand and communications initiatives that support the growth of the
Onshore India and Global NRI franchise.
The role requires the ability to operate in a sophisticated ultra-high
net worth client environment and partner closely with senior bankers and
leadership.

- Strategic marketing and sponsorship initiatives
- Brand partnerships and client experience platforms
- Advertising and brand visibility initiatives
- Public relations and internal communications
- Brand management and reputation building
- Social media and digital marketing strategy
- Innovation and development of distinctive client engagement formats
SKILLS & eXPERIENCE
Professional Experience and Expertise
A senior marketing professional with at least 12 to 14 years of
industry experience preferably within private banking wealth
management luxury brands or other premium client focused industries
Experience within private banking or wealth management will be a
definite advantage
Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning client journeys and
reputation management in a global environment
Demonstrate a creative mindset and the ability to execute the banks
brand vision in line with global standards within a regional environment
Experience conceptualising and executing high touch client experiences
and brand partnerships targeted at ultra high net worth individuals
Experience designing high quality client engagement platforms
including thought leadership events cultural partnerships and
sponsorship initiatives
Ability to collaborate closely with external agencies partners and
vendors for marketing initiatives
Detail oriented with strong ownership of timelines and the ability to
manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Well networked within the marketing and communications ecosystem and
able to represent Julius Baer externally as a credible brand ambassador
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
Demonstrate strong people engagement skills within a matrix
organisational structure and the ability to work effectively with
individuals across functions and levels of seniority
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience guiding teams
managing complex initiatives or influencing stakeholders across
functions. The role may evolve to include direct team management
responsibilities over time
Ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior bankers and
leadership comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders while
shaping client engagement and brand initiatives
Prior experience working within a regional or global team structure
and the ability to build strong connectivity with global functional
teams
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while
remaining highly collaborative and able to draw on the firms collective
expertise
Demonstrate humility and respect when working with colleagues across
functional lines
Approachable and willing to work closely with members of the team
while maintaining open and transparent communication without biases
Resilient personality with the ability to work effectively under
pressure
Flexible with working hours when required including evening events
and occasional travel for business initiatives
Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Any
additional language would be an advantage
Strong understanding of ultra high net worth client segments including
their lifestyle interests cultural preferences and investment mindset
