Job Description
Diplomatik are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our busy Manufacturing client in Kewdale.
The hours of work are 6am-2.06pm casual ongoing with the potential to transition into a permanent position and the hourly rate is $65.57 per hour plus penalties
Responsibilities:
- Promptly carry out repairs servicing and maintenance of manufacturing plant and associated equipment with minimal supervision.
- Undertake non-structural welding repairs.
- Adhere to all Company policies procedures and instructions in particular safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- To work as part of a team committed to implementing the principles and philosophy of customer service and quality products.
- Maintain tooling for pressing and shearing operations.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostic analysis including overhaul of plant and equipment as necessary.
- Be available to enact repairs or maintenance in the event of breakdowns outside normal hours.
- Ensuring manufactured products meets tolerances.
- Contributes to the team environment by performing other duties as required.
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in similar role in similar industry.
- Good technical knowledge of Manufacturing or Production processes.
- Good Communication Skills and Problem Solving.
- Trade qualification
Desirable:
- Trade Qualified Fitter
- Forklift ticket
- Confined spaces ticket
- EWP ticket
