About the Role

CrewSELECT is seeking a Hydro Technicianto join a busy workshop environment in Acacia Ridge. Working on the pressure testing of fabricated spools and vessels you will support piping assembly activities and assist in delivering high-quality fabricated products for industrial projects. This role offers consistent hours regular overtime and on-the-job training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with pressure testing fabricated spools and vessels
• Perform flange management and piping assembly activities
• Prepare components and equipment for testing and inspection
• Operate forklifts to move materials safely throughout the workshop
• Maintain workshop safety quality and housekeeping standards

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Experience in flange management and piping assembly
• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail organisation and time management skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous hydro pressure testing experience
• Experience within fabrication or heavy industrial workshops
• Familiarity with piping systems and mechanical assemblies
• Exposure to pressure testing procedures
• Additional high-risk licences advantageous

Whats on Offer

• $40 - $50 per hour depending on skills and experience
• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am 2:30pm
• Friday: 6:00am 12:00pm
• Regular overtime available Monday to Saturday
• On-the-job training provided for hydro pressure testing
