Broken Arrow Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital that welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as patients in need of routine medical surgical and dental care. All the doctors on staff have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.
Beyond first-rate pet care we make our clinic comfortable kid-friendly and calm so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our veterinarian. Our doctors strive to create a fear free environment by applying different techniques to make your pets visit as calm and stress free as possible.
Position Purpose

Heartland Veterinary Partners Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them practice ready by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications
Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
Must be able to provide student PLIT
