PRTM Product Manager R&D IT

Our platforms including tools such as IBM ELM/DOORS and Polarion are used daily by more than 12000 engineers across the globe to develop cutting-edge semiconductor and system the Product Manager for PRTM you will own the vision strategy and roadmap of these missioncritical this role you will lead a talented team collaborate closely with business stakeholders guide technical direction and drive continuous innovation in how NXP manages product development lifecycle data. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven experience managing enterprise IT solutions leading teams and engaging globally distributed stakeholders and in India this role offers a unique opportunity to operate in a truly global setting influence core R&D capabilities and develop professionally in an international multicultural and responsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end vision strategy and roadmap for PRTM (Product Requirements & Test Management) solutions ensuring alignment with NXPs R&D business goals and enterprise IT business objectives and stakeholder needs into actionable product features requirements and improvements in collaboration with the Business Product Owner Solution Architect engineering teams and product lifecycle management including roadmap definition release planning adoption support and continuous Program Increment (PI) objectives backlog priorities and release content using Agile and DevOps practices; ensure predictable delivery of features capabilities and technical strong partnerships with global R&D stakeholders to capture needs prioritize value evaluate solution performance and drive customer industry technology and market trends (e.g. ALM/PLM requirements management test management) to proactively identify opportunities for and track key product KPIs (adoption stability usage user satisfaction performance ROI) and drive improvements based on data-driven and grow the PRTM team through hiring coaching performance management and skill development; foster a culture of technical excellence and technical decision-making by promoting modern engineering practices evaluating architectural options and enabling Proofs of Concept (PoCs).Oversee product finances including budgeting forecasting cost optimization and ROI-based investment relationships with external vendors and partners including contract negotiations license management performance reviews and issue that all PRTM solutions comply with organizational standards for architecture security privacy compliance and operational excellence. Education and experienceBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related technical discipline.10 years of professional experience in software development application engineering or technical IT roles including hands-on technical background.5 years of experience in product management product ownership or technical leadership roles within complex enterprise experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors or technology experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and managing product roadmaps or large-scale platform background working with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices including backlog management PI planning iterative delivery and continuous in R&D environments or familiarity with requirement management and test management tools (e.g. Polarion ELM / DOORS Jama qTest Zephyr) is highly managing product budgets financial planning or ROI-driven decision to semiconductor automotive or high-tech engineering environments is a strong Product & Leadership SkillsStrong product management capability including roadmapping prioritization lifecycle management and translating business goals into actionable to balance diverse stakeholder needs make tradeoff decisions and maintain alignment across a global and matrixed leadership presence with the ability to influence without authority and drive crossfunctional & Strategic SkillsData-driven decision-making with strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking mindset with the ability to define long-term vision identify opportunities and propose innovative technical & Delivery SkillsSolid understanding of software development practices system architecture integrations and enterprise IT to guide engineering discussions assess technical proposals and support technical innovation through planning and delivery skills including managing multiple workstreams risks dependencies and & Collaboration SkillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate effectively with global teams stakeholders and -focused mindset with the ability to understand user needs and drive adoption and AttributesHighly organized proactive and adaptable within fast-paced and evolving -oriented collaborative and open to diverse perspectives with a passion for continuous in English both written and verbal.
