Overview
Monterey Park Hospital a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for our Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.
Responsibilities
The Telemetry Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN. The CNA/NA position is directly responsible for the delivery of high-quality individualized basic nursing care. The CNA/NA utilizes knowledge of the patients age developmental status spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. The CNA/NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
