Position Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for Central Engineering serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to engineering leadership aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role provides full-spectrum HR support across talent management organizational design employee relations change management and workforce planning for a technically complex engineering function.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership
Partner with engineering leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and workforce plans.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners across business units and functions.
Coach and advise managers on organizational leadership and people-related matters.
Translate technical talent needs into proactive HR solutions.
Talent Management & Development
Lead talent reviews succession planning and high-potential employee identification.
Partner with Talent Acquisition on critical and hard-to-fill technical positions.
Support career development and leadership progression frameworks.
Organizational Design & Change Management
Advise on organizational structure role clarity and workforce effectiveness.
Lead and support change management initiatives reorganizations and transformation efforts.
Consult with engineering leaders finance and resource management teams on workforce planning and resource allocation.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
Analyze engagement data and develop retention and culture improvement strategies.
Promote an inclusive and high-performance work environment.
Performance & Rewards
Support performance management processes goal alignment and feedback initiatives.
Partner with Total Rewards teams on compensation planning equity reviews and retention strategies.
Data & Workforce Analytics
Utilize workforce data and analytics to identify trends risks and opportunities related to attrition headcount diversity and engagement.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Organizational Psychology or a related field.
Experience
Previous experience with the hiring organization is preferred.
8 years of progressive HR experience including HRBP support for technical engineering or R&D organizations.
Experience advising senior leaders on talent organizational and change initiatives.
Experience in a global matrixed organization is preferred.
Skills & Competencies

Excellent consulting coaching and stakeholder management skills.
Strong judgment in employee relations and organizational matters.
Data-driven approach with experience using workforce analytics and HR systems.
