About the Position Position/Specialty: PACU RN Shift: 4x10s Days 7:30a-6pm - 1 night a week there is a required late shift (The late nurse stays on the unit as the second nurse until the last case in the OR is completed and recovered. They are able to go home. The call nurse does the same thing but when they go home they are still on call. The late nurse would get call back pay just like call starting at 6p until they leave for the evening.) Ratios: 1:2 Weekend REQ: Only for Call Is on-call REQ (Y/N): Yes 1 call night a week and 1 call weekend every 6 weeks Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 Years First-time travelers accepted (Y/N): Yes License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certs REQ: ACLS BLS PALS Trauma Level REQ: N/A Special Requirements: Epic experience required; would prefer Critical Care training Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on units needs Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate. RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 304 Scrub Color: Provided by facility Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Downtown parking lots require a parking pass which we distribute at badge pickup. There is no fee to park. Parking lots and garages available. Garages clearance is only for average suv truck. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
