Registered Nurse Cardiac Tele

Shift: 3x12 Nights 1900-0730 Floating is required to like units at this hospital or close by hospitals depending on need Weekend coverage: Every other but may change based on need Medication system: Pyxis & Omnicell Must have at least one year of EPIC experience Patient Diagnoses: Adult patients in observation status and inpatient overflow Adult patients with chest pain/acute coronary syndrome cardiac arrythmias diabetes syncope permanent pacemaker insertion CVA / TIA / stroke work-up pneumonia heart failure COPD sepsis and GI bleed. Special procedures: Oconee Memorial Rapid Assessment Unit Services include but are not limited to: Cardiac / Telemetry Monitoring Pulse Oximetry Monitoring Patient Assessment. Coordination of testing and procedures Collaboration with providers Acute Nursing Care Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop a patient specific plan of care. Consultations with specialty services to include but not limited to cardiology general surgery orthopedics neurology. Types of Procedures Performed: Cardiac / telemetry monitoring Permanent pacemaker pacing TEE Negative pressure isolation (AFB) Thoracentesis/Paracentesis Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions per Prisma Health policy Level 3 IV Push medications for inpatient care per Prisma Health policy Required certificates: SC RN license ACLS BLS and NIHSS Requiring at least 1 year of experience in the field Willing to review 1st time travelers depending on experience
