Come and join the Infinite team as our new Garden/Maintenance Officer on a full-time basis at our aged care home Prahran.

This role offers great work life balance as the hours are Monday to Friday starting at 7am & finishing at approximately 3pm. The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate for this permanent role and a fortnightly paid phone allowance.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Undertake general day to day maintenance activities to a high standard in accordance with Infinite standards plans and guidelines.
• Ensure all emergency preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site.
• Ensure smooth day to day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility.
• Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role.
• Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; waste removal; painting and test and tagging (training can be provided after commencement).

About You:

• Previous gardening and maintenance experience is preferred.
• OHS understanding.
• You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise work schedules.
• Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one)
• Positive can do attitude will ensure your success in this important role.

This is a physically demanding maintenance role applicants must be capable of safely performing manual handling and other physical duties.

As part of our pre-employment phase an online medical assessment and other work-related checks are mandatory.
