Job Purpose

To maintain AXIS models. To modify models incorporate latest assumptions in models check the impact of changes in order to provide updated models for various activities. Managing junior team members on a task by task basis.

Balancing work and studies and passing actuarial exams

Digesting large amounts of information and being able to recognise key items quickly

Developing and implementing new ideas to improve individual work methods

KRA1Oversee and Perform setting up of models for new products being launched that the required data should be available for modelling in required format whenever a new product is getting launched.
all the features of the products are set up in AXIS models.
all the assumptions used for the AXIS models are appropriate.

KRA2Upgrading the AXIS with latest updates a track of all the updates released for AXIS
the datasets with latest available update
the impact of change on the results due to upgrade
all teams about the changes in the models due to upgrade
KRA3Responses to queries simple queries
helping other teams understand the results
explain / overcome implication of results and limitations of models
relationships and interactions among data to create information
effectively in the discussions and discussing moderately complex technical information in lay or business terms as per requirement
KRA4Modification to the models a log for the request received from other teams for changes in the model
a log for change in the assumptions to be used in the model
appropriate changes in the models check the changes based on the impact on various results
KRA5Review of Models scope document for Review the Models
with the Reviewer Team prepare a log for issues raised.
