Job Summary

ABOUT US:
TollyClassic Delivery is hiring a Business Support Lead to oversee two important parts of the business: Finance/Admin and Customer Support.

This role is for someone who is organised responsible calm under pressure and able to keep daily operations in order without losing sight of the bigger picture. The person in this role will not be expected to do every task personally but will be responsible for making sure the work is done properly on time and with the right level of follow-through.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Business Support Lead will be responsible for making sure money matters are handled on time and recorded properly customer complaints and inquiries are handled in an organised and respectful manner and management has a clear and honest view of daily figures issues and risks.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Daily oversight of Finance/Admin and Customer Support
  • Confirm daily attendance and note lateness or absence across both teams.
  • Review unresolved customer issues pending payments and remittances from the previous day.
  • Hold short daily check-ins with the Customer Support Lead and Finance Lead.
  • Track key statutory dates meetings partner calls and other important obligations.
  • Follow-through during the workday
  • Ensure payments and remittances planned for the day are actually completed.
  • Confirm that proof of payment and supporting records are properly saved.
  • Monitor live customer complaints and make sure issues are not ignored or abandoned.
  • Step into sensitive situations especially where a client is upset at risk of leaving or where the company needs to respond with maturity and calm.
  • Ensure records such as invoices receipts payment confirmations and basic staff or client documents are properly filed.
  • Escalate recurring service issues clearly to the Operations Lead with the right details and context.
  • End-of-day reporting and management updates
  • Confirm what was closed in Finance and Customer Support by the end of each day.
  • Keep simple daily figures on payments unresolved items complaint volumes and escalations.
  • Send a short daily update to management showing what was done what remains open and any risks the company should know about.


Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can coordinate people and make sure work is completed on time.
  • Pays attention to detail and keeps records in order.
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully with staff clients riders and partners.
  • Can handle pressure without becoming disorganised.
  • Knows how to follow up firmly and professionally.
  • Can identify risks early and escalate issues before they become bigger problems.
  • Is comfortable working with numbers reports and operational updates.
  • Has the maturity to handle serious customer issues and internal follow-up.

The ideal candidate should have experience in operations support business administration customer service supervision finance coordination or a similar role. Experience in a fast-moving delivery logistics retail warehouse or service business will be an added advantage.
