Our client an education services company seeks to employ a Learning Support Teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students academic strengths learning needs and learning styles.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support academic success.
Provide targeted support and interventions in core subjects and study skills.
Monitor student progress and adjust learning strategies where necessary.
Collaborate with tutors teachers and parents to support student development and achievement.
Foster a positive inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Mentor and guide students to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Maintain regular communication with parents and provide updates on student progress.
Prepare and submit student assessments progress reports and intervention records.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning support programs and recommend improvements.
Stay updated on best practices in learning support and student development.
Participate in professional development activities and training programs.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Education Psychology Counseling Special Education or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching learning support academic counseling or student development.
Strong understanding of learning styles academic intervention strategies and student development principles.
Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized learning plans.
Excellent communication interpersonal and mentoring skills.
Strong organizational problem-solving and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Strong commitment to student success inclusion and continuous learning.
Ability to work collaboratively with students parents teachers and other stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant personal assistant or similar role - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills - Proficient in multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Advanced proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Google Suite etc.) - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion - Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanour - Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment - Prior experience in a healthcare or related field is advantageous - . or Equivalent - 1-year experience
