Job Summary

Our Client
Our client a PR & Communications strategy company seeks to employ a Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities by developing new markets partnerships and commercial relationships.
  • Drive business development initiatives targeted at government agencies ministries departments and agencies (MDAs).
  • Advise executive leadership on government economic policies budget allocations and opportunities for strategic collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with SMEs corporate organizations brands and emerging businesses with high growth potential.
  • Achieve assigned revenue market share and profitability targets.
  • Prepare business proposals presentations and pitch documents to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement brand positioning and market visibility initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends competitor activities and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate business development records reports and databases.
  • Provide periodic reports on revenue generation business pipeline activities and closed deals.
  • Support strategic alliances partnerships and collaboration initiatives that contribute to organizational growth.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Economics Communications or a related field.
  • 5-7 proven experience in business development strategy consulting sales or stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of government institutions procurement processes and public-sector engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and achieve business growth targets.
  • Excellent proposal writing presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership networking and stakeholder engagement capabilities


Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Economics Communications or a related field. 5-7 proven experience in business development strategy consulting sales or stakeholder management. Strong understanding of government institutions procurement processes and public-sector engagement. Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and achieve business growth targets. Required Education:

First degree in Marketing Business Management or any other related social science certifications and professional memberships will be an added advantage.
