Job Summary
Job Duties

- Operate machine after machine has been set up and verified by supervisor
- Verify tolerances by performing inspection of first 5 pieces and then bring pieces to an inspector for final inspection
- Report variances to supervisor
- Once pieces pass inspection continue running job per blueprint/drawing specifications
- Bring completed orders to shipping
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Physical Requirement
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Work Environment
- Some of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool depending upon the season and noise level can be moderate to high
Qualifications :
- Minimum 1 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn precision grinding
- Comfort level working around machinery in a fast paced environment
- Basic knowledge of measurement tools including micrometers (digital or dial) roundness gauge comparator cylindricity gauge
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must be able to meet quality and entry level productivity standards
- Able to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be at workstation on time every day unless authorized
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Salary and Benefits:
The hourlr range for the position is $18/hour. Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
