Program Analyst III

CPT is seeking a Program Analyst III to support the Gun Weapon Systems Division (E30) at NSWC Dahlgren. This role directly supports U.S. Navy gun weapon system development evaluation and sustainment programs in a collaborative mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals requirements and objectives for E30 Gun Weapon Systems programs.
• Develop life cycle cost analyses and perform cost-benefit or economic evaluations of current and projected programs.
• Develop and maintain program reporting systems including specifications data gathering analytical techniques and evaluation methodology.
• Analyze new or proposed legislation regulations and requirements to determine impact on program operations and engineering design.
• Develop management and/or program evaluation plans procedures and methodology.
• Analyze and evaluate proposed changes in mission or operating procedures and prepare relevant documentation.
• Prepare and maintain program schedules briefings and status reports for government stakeholders.
• Support coordination between engineering contracts and program management teams in alignment with E30 mission objectives.

• 58 years of general experience with at least 4 years of specialized experience in program analysis.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing program effectiveness and developing cost analyses or economic evaluations.
• Experience developing program reporting systems and gathering/interpreting analytical data.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Active Secret clearance required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting Navy or DoD Gun Weapon Systems programs.
• Familiarity with NSWC Dahlgren or naval surface warfare program offices.
• Experience with Navy financial and reporting tools (e.g. eCRAFT N-ERP).
