Job Summary Network Operations Analyst (NOC Analyst)
- Monitor network health and alarms using network management tools in a 24x7 NOC environment.
- Analyze triage escalate and resolve network incidents within defined SLA timelines.
- Create and maintain accurate incident tickets with detailed documentation.
- Provide technical updates to internal teams and management regarding network incidents.
- Perform proactive network monitoring to detect and address issues before they impact service.
- Coordinate with operations engineering and technical support teams for incident resolution and ongoing support.
- Track incidents from initiation through closure ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Support and contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Utilize strong knowledge of TCP/IP Subnetting OSI Model and troubleshooting techniques.
- Use incident management and ticketing systems to manage network issues.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a fast-paced multitasking environment.
- Work rotational shifts including nights and weekends and occasionally travel as required.
- Position is onsite in Syracuse NY.
