Job Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a Plans and Production Specialist to serve as the critical link between our drafting room and the factory this role you will be responsible for managing sub-components files and drawings ensuring that all digital designs are accurately translated for our manufacturing equipment. You are the guardian of quality at the very beginning of the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Validation: Compare .NC (numerical control) files with 2D manufacturing drawings to ensure that production machinery produces parts correctly.
Machine Coordination: Analyze and determine the specific equipment required for each task and translate data into a language understandable by the designated machinery.
Quality Control: Verify all data before fabrication begins including dimensions quantities and the specific capacity of equipment to reproduce required details.
Documentation Management: Produce and verify manufacturing lists and print and control fabrication drawings.
Production Optimization: Program or validate CNC files for various plant machines and optimize material batches prior to fabrication to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications :
Required Profile
To align with the technical requirements of handling .NC files and production machinery in India the following qualifications are proposed:
- Diploma or B.E./ in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
- Certified course in CNC Programming (G-code/M-code) and CAD/CAM software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks Mastercam).
- 510 years in a Production Planning & Control (PPC) or CNC Programming role within a steel manufacturing setup.
Required Competencies
Meticulousness: Exceptional attention to detail in verifying dimensions and numerical data.
Methodical Approach: Ability to follow structured processes for technical validation and documentation.
Coordination: Strong ability to sync drafting room outputs with factory floor capacities.
