About the Opportunity

ACCIONA continues to expand its presence across Queenslands rail infrastructure sector delivering major transport programs that support sustainable connected communities.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Commercial Finance and Project Controls professionals interested in joining our teams on upcoming rail projects commencing in 2026.

Whether your background is in contract management commercial strategy finance leadership planning cost control or project performance ACCIONA offers a chance to help shape the states future rail network within a collaborative highperforming environment.

Required Skills and Competencies

Key Role Streams:

1. Commercial & Contracts

Manage endtoend contract administration and commercial governance

Support procurement tender evaluations subcontractor engagement and negotiations

Oversee claims variations change management and commercial reporting

Identify and mitigate commercial risks

Provide strategic commercial advice to support project leadership

2. Finance & Project Accounting

Lead project financial governance reporting budgeting and forecasting

Manage cost control cashflow revenue recognition and monthend processes

Provide financial analysis modelling insights and strategic advice

Ensure compliance with internal controls audits and accounting standards

Partner with commercial and project teams to ensure financial performance

3. Project Controls & Performance

- Lead cost control planning scheduling risk management and reporting frameworks

- Manage integrated project schedules and earned value performance

- Oversee change control forecasting trends and baseline management

- Provide project performance insights to senior leadership and governance boards

- Collaborate across engineering delivery finance and commercial teams to drive outcomes
