Interventional Radiology Technologist

Full-Time Day Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 4:00 PM

Eligible candidates may receive up to a $15000 sign-on bonus subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Athena Health Care is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures across Angiography Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.

In this role you will assist physicians with both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. This position also offers opportunities for cross-training to expand your clinical expertise.

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures in angiography and interventional radiology
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures
• Prepare and position patients explaining procedures and addressing questions or concerns
• Maintain compliance with safety infection control and regulatory standards
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Required:

• Associates Degree (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology or a related field
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
• Active Maryland State Radiologic Technologist License
• CPR Certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 3 5 years of relevant experience in diagnostic or interventional imaging

Preferred:

• Advanced-level CT Certification
• Experience in angiography and interventional radiology settings
