Starting pay for this production position is $18.75-$19.75 per hour depending on relevant experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health dental vision life disability 9 paid holidays paid time off (PTO - combined sick vacation and personal time) available in the 1st year and a 401(k) plan with 50% match. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FABRICATION ASSISTANT


As a Fabrication Assistant you will perform various tasks related to the production of blending and material-handling equipment. Ability to follow instructions will be critical as you use power and hand tools (such as drills grinders and air tools) to prepare parts for the next stage of the production process. Attention to detail is important as you inspect parts both visually and with precision and measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality specifications. The ability to lift and handle a variety of metal parts of different shapes and sizes is necessary typically weighing 5-50 pounds. Setup operation and general upkeep of forklift and other basic equipment used in the manufacturing process or maintenance of facilities will also be a part of your day. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FABRICATION ASSISTANT

  • Attention to detail and safety standards
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds frequently up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers calipers and tape measures
  • Willingness and ability to become trained to operate a forklift within 30 days
  • Repetitive bending and lifting; may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

WORK SCHEDULE AS A FABRICATION ASSISTANT


The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 am to 9 am with weekends free!
