| Job Description: | The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is seeking qualifiesapplicants for a position with the UF Cancer Center. This is an exciting opportunity to jointhe Population and Data Science Group (PoDS) that fuels innovation and impact in cancercontrol and population-based research in a collaborative multidisciplinary UF Health Cancer Center is home to many leading cancer researchers in diverse fields. We are seeking outstanding individuals focused on research related to cancer populationsciences including but not limited to the intersection of cancer and aging data sciencecancer early detection cancer survivorship research and health addition tocontributing to the ongoing epidemiologic and clinical research the candidate will have theopportunity to explore own independent scientific interests and is expected to work towarddeveloping a line of research in this area with an effort to obtain a career developmentaward and/or other external funding to support faculty position. |

| Required Qualifications: | A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D. DrPH M.D. D.V.M. DDSetc.) in Epidemiology Public Health or a related field. |
| Preferred: | Excellent scientific writing and strong oral communication skills. The ability to write effectively collaboratively and collegially with colleagues. Experience in performing statistical analyses using SAS R or STATA programing language |
