Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Retail Store Manager to lead a dynamic apparel store. This role is responsible for overseeing daily store operations driving sales performance delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive store sales to achieve and exceed targets
- Analyse sales reports and implement strategies to improve performance
- Monitor KPIs including conversion rates basket size and foot traffic
- Execute promotional campaigns and in-store merchandising strategies
- Recruit train and develop store staff
- Manage staff performance including setting targets and conducting reviews
- Create staff schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels
- Foster a positive motivated and customer-focused team culture
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently delivered
- Handle customer queries complaints and escalations professionally
- Maintain strong product knowledge across all apparel ranges
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures
- Manage stock levels stock takes and shrinkage control
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines
- Maintain health & safety and company compliance standards
- Manage stock replenishment and stock rotation
- Ensure accurate stock control and reporting
- Implement visual merchandising plans to maximize product appeal
Personal Attributes:
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager (preferably in apparel/fashion)
- Strong sales and commercial acumen
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Customer-centric mindset
- Proficient in retail systems and Microsoft Office
