About the Role:
The Program Officer Implementation will be responsible for driving the on-ground execution of programs. This role serves as a critical link between program design and delivery ensuring effective implementation strong community engagement and high-quality documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local context and hands-on experience in field coordination and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Coordination:
Lead end-to-end implementation of programs across assigned districts
Coordinate with central teams and support liaison with community stakeholders
Ensure timely and high-quality execution of program activities
Identify implementation gaps and proactively recommend corrective actions
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and village-level stakeholders
Conduct community mobilisation activities across assigned districts
Conduct regular field visits to track program progress and collect verify and consolidate field data
Prepare reports field notes and program documentation
Maintain accurate records of program activities and beneficiary data
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate in Social Work Rural Development Public Health Agriculture or a related field
Core Skills: Program implementation and field operations Data collection and record management Government stakeholder coordination Community mobilisation
Behavioural Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and adaptability High ownership and accountability
