About the Role:
The Program Officer Implementation will be responsible for driving the on-ground execution of programs. This role serves as a critical link between program design and delivery ensuring effective implementation strong community engagement and high-quality documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local context and hands-on experience in field coordination and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Coordination:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of programs across assigned districts
- Coordinate with central teams and support liaison with community stakeholders
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of program activities
- Identify implementation gaps and proactively recommend corrective actions
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and village-level stakeholders
- Conduct community mobilisation activities across assigned districts
- Conduct regular field visits to track program progress and collect verify and consolidate field data
- Prepare reports field notes and program documentation
- Maintain accurate records of program activities and beneficiary data
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate in Social Work Rural Development Public Health Agriculture or a related field
Core Skills: Program implementation and field operations Data collection and record management Government stakeholder coordination Community mobilisation
Behavioural Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and adaptability High ownership and accountability
