Job Description
The Conflict Analyst is responsible for research and analysis of incoming business and ensuring ethical compliance of the Rules of Professional Responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines presented by the Rules of Professional Responsibility.
Research incoming business and provide analysis based upon ethical rules.
Provide potential conflicts issues and advise on potential resolutions for said issues.
REQUIRED EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Juris Doctor
1-2 years experience in the Risk Management field.
Familiarity with rules governing conflicts of interest in relevant jurisdictions.
Practical legal experience in a large corporate law firm.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Detailed knowledge of business needs in a professional service environment.
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Successful project management skills and experience.
Advanced oral and written communication skills including the ability to interpret understand and prepare complex written material clearly and succinctly.
Exceptional research and analysis skills.
Understanding of the Rules of Professional Responsibility and ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
Proficient time management skills.
Ability to identify changes and shift as workflow demands.
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint Teams) Dun & Bradstreet Company Research and various Business Intake systems.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
