Position Summary:

The Senior Marketable Strategic Pricing Analyst drives value through the strategic pricing process in collaboration with key stakeholders with the goal of developing strategies for achieving optimized pricing with a focus on competitiveness. . Provides value driven insights in-depth analysis recommendations and tracking of results regarding the execution of go to market pricing strategies cost change management brand indexing and margin risk. Seeks to understand areas of risk and develops strategies with key stakeholders to mitigate margin risk through price management. Responsible for end-to-end process optimization.

What you will do:

  • Reviews and concisely publishes price positioning performance using KPI analysis.

  • Develops Price strategies specific to our commodity items by engaging with business unit stakeholders to understand commodity market drivers changing internal and external cost and pricing strategies Brand Cost Index revisions as well as communicating progress on specific activities and issue resolution.

  • Drives accountability with key stakeholders to implement and monitor approved inbound cost cost for price price and margin opportunity changes.

  • Responsible for training and onboarding of new team members

  • Identifies and maps project alignment to category and division sales initiatives annually and based on evolving business needs.

  • Analyzes and advises leadership on margin risk associated with changing cost for price positions pricing positions and cost recaptures

  • Ownership in standardized tools reporting and best practices related to pricing management

  • Subject matter expert in GFS cost factors and cost models pricing profiles and impacts to customer price margin and sales compensation.

  • Creates and manages standardized reporting to support pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth .

  • Key ambassador to category and sales leadership for overall Revenue Management tools processes and strategies.

  • Collects analyzes summarizes and presents KPIs and financial performance data to improve and optimize margin and case growth performance.

  • Collaborates with technical experts to develop and maintain process and reporting automation.

  • Subject matter expert for external competitive price and supplemental market share data.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

When you will work:

  • Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

  • Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office 1 day remote.

What youll bring to the table:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field required.

  • Three to five years of cost and / or pricing management product / category knowledge or other marketing experience as typically obtained through a bachelors prepared education or a combination of applicable on-the-job experience and education.

  • Marketing / Product - Identification of key product attributes in order to recognize potential product matches quality tiers and added value.

  • Project Management Skills - Able to understand establish and facilitate processes in order to complete projects.

  • Self Management - Must have good time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to complete assigned work on time and on budget. Must be results-oriented and have excellent relationship building skills.

  • Customer Service - Top of mind focus on customer needs meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Business Acumen - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning cost of goods margin and margin drivers foodservice market drivers sales and vendor objectives internal pricing and accounting practices.

  • Data Analysis / Analytics Skills - Proficiency in analyzing information; able to use analytics and associated tools (e.g. Google Suite Excel Microstrategy) in creative ways to tell the pricing story garner buy-in provide insights and to support decision-making.

  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

  • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one and guide strategy through influence.

  • Speaking and Writing - Requires impeccable verbal written and presentation skills in order to support projects convey findings share strategies and conduct product sales/merchandising presentations or to sell an idea in a variety of ways including written correspondence face-to-face or group meetings. This role will be leadership facing across almost all GFS business units.

  • Coordination - Adjusting own actions and the actions of team members in relation to changing strategies.
