The Senior Manager of Digital Experience Strategy leads the vision roadmap and delivery of customerfacing digital experiences across websites eCommerce web shops and connected digital tools for our Access & Egress Hardware Group (AEHG). This role owns the endtoend digital ecosystem including platform architecture User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) strategy Search Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization (SEO/GEO) performance and the integrated technology environment that supports product content and digital assets. The manager ensures experiences are scalable secure accessible and highperforming.
This role requires close partnership with Marketing Information Technology Sales and external agencies to govern and optimize core content systems. This will include Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management (PIM/DAM) and their integrations with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (CMS/AEM) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms and custom configurators. The manager provides vendor and team leadership and establishes standards for data governance privacy security and continuous improvement aligned with enterprise technology strategy.

This position is based on-site in Berlin or New Haven Connecticut requiring occasional domestic travel.
What will you be doing
- Digital Roadmap:Define and socialize DX strategies across websiteseCommerce web shops and digital tools;developroadmapw/spring cyclesandmanageaccountability fromall resources
- Design Leadership:Set UX/UI principles and design standards; ensure accessibility and usability; partner with Brand/Marketing tomaintaina consistent differentiated experience acrossbrandsand product lines.
- Platform Architecture:Own the overall digital ecosystem design and operating model across CMS (e.g. AEM) commerce capabilities analytics/tagging and integrations with ERP and other enterprise services.
- Content Governance:Establishgovernance for product data digital assets and content lifecycle (taxonomy metadata approvals localization); ensure quality timeliness and reusability across channels.
- SEO/GEO performance:Drive technical SEO and content discoverability (including generative search optimization where relevant); oversee performance speed and Core Web Vitals; reduce friction in key journeys.
- Data Analytics:Define KPI framework dashboards and experimentation approach (A/B testing personalization whereappropriate); use insights to prioritize improvements and quantify impact.
- Cross-functional delivery:Partner with Marketing IT Sales Product Legal/Compliance and regional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions; manage tradeoffs scope and timelines.
- Budgeting:Select and manage agencies/partners; set SLAs and delivery standards; manage budgets forecasting and value realization.
- Data Privacy:Ensure adherence to data privacy consent management cybersecurity standards and brand/legal requirements; define governance for releases and change control.
- Lead coach and develop an internal team and extended matrix; define roles capabilities and ways of working to scale delivery.
What are we looking for
- Must have 812 years in digital experience digital strategy web or eCommerce roles.
- Must have 5 years in leading crossfunctional teams and agency partners.
- Demonstrated ability to define experience standards govern content and product data and improve endtoend customer journeys.
- Strong UX design expertise with frontend development proficiency.
- User Experience leadership with working knowledge of infrastructure cloud platforms and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Oversee vendor selections and evaluations. This includes total cost of ownership implementation complexity and ecosystem fit.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders align competing priorities and build highperforming teams within a matrixed organization.
- Proven use of analytics experimentation and key performance indicator frameworks to improve acquisition conversion and engagement.
- BerliWorking knowledge of privacy and consent requirements accessibility expectations and securebydesign practices for digital platforms.
Platform expertise:
- Content Management System landscape: Experience with enterprise platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager Sitecore Optimizely Drupal and headless or composable alternatives.
- Content architecture: Component design content modeling and authoring experience.
- Headless and hybrid Content Management System patterns: Decoupled front ends content application programming interfaces and omnichannel delivery.
- Content Management System vendor evaluation and selection: Total cost of ownership implementation complexity and ecosystem fit.
- Adobe Experience Manager familiarity: HTL (Sightly) Sling Models cqdialog and Maven build pipelines (working knowledge).
- Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Service awareness: Cloud migration considerations.
