Located in Rowvilles prestigious Waterford precinct The Links at Waterford is a boutique retirement community known for its warm welcoming culture and high-quality living experience. As Village Administrator you will play an integral role in supporting residents assisting daily operations and contributing to the smooth running of the petfriendly community offers a range of thoughtfully designed amenitiesincluding a communal vegetable garden DIY workshop artist studio and a clubhouse that hosts a dynamic calendar of social activities. Your work will help ensure these spaces and experiences run efficiently and continue to enrich village this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for residents visitors and contractors. You will deliver exceptional customer service support the village staff across administrative and operational tasks to maintain a welcoming and wellrun community successful candidate will work a 5-day fortnight. Work shifts are as : 9am to 4pmThursday: 9am to 4pmEvery 2nd Friday: 9am to 4pmKey responsibilities include:Providing professional courteous customer service to residents visitors and contractorsManaging reception duties and responding to incoming enquiriesSupporting the Village Manager with administrative tasks and daytoday operationsMaintaining accurate data records and assisting with invoicingCoordinating contractor inductions and supporting EHS complianceConducting resident welfare checks and managing followups where requiredPreparing newsletters and community communicationsAssisting with the planning and coordination of community events and activities Carrying out adhoc operational or residentsupport duties as directed by the Village Manager This position is ideal for someone who is organised approachable and enjoys working in a peoplecentred environment where every day offers variety and meaningful YouFor this role you will have excellent diligence and organisational skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously to complete tasks. Your strong customer service skills will allow you to effectively consult with our residents and visitors. To be successful in your application you will have the following;Administration and demonstrated customer service experienceDemonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) and ability to pick up new systemsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse communityExceptional interpersonal skillswith a bubbly approachable personality that helps build trust and rapport with residents families and team membersBe highly organised and able to prioritise competing tasksWillingness to learn and professionally developA professional initiative-taking and can-do to Join the FunIf youre passionate about fostering a vibrant well-run and caring community for independent seniors wed love to hear from you!
