TITLE: Senior General Accountant
LOCATION: Salt Lake City UT (Must be in office at least 3 days a week)
EMPLOYER: AES Clean Energy Services LLC
RESPONSIBILITIES: Records financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; Use software applications to assemble and format data and/or reports; Analyzes reconciles and evaluates the accuracy of general ledger accounting details and ensures the amounts are proper and classified correctly; Monitors and ensures compliance with AES policies internal controls and corporate policies; Identifies problem areas evaluates their causes and takes action to resolve the problems. Designs and implements improvement to the existing processes. Exceed the requirements of our external and internal customers; SAP and BPC experience; Intercompany Accounting expert; Advanced Excel skills; Show a high degree of competence service and initiative in solving problems on your own.
QUALIFICATIONS: Job requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Business Management or a related field and 5 Years of experience in Accounting or a related field.
The position requires five (5) years of experience in:
- Step plan tool intercompany transactions;
- TB analysis CF and MD&A;
- Equity process Technical accounting process and US GAAP;
- BPC and SAP management for reporting and accounting registers.
The position requires 2 years of experience in Quantum Treasury system.
