Job Summary

OBJECTIVE: Seasonal Grounds Laborer is a hands-on physical role ensuring that outdoor spaces are safe clean maintained and attractive.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Push mowing and weed whipping commercial properties.
Property upkeep including removal of trash sticks and weeds.
Mulching raking and general landscaping tasks.
Occasional use of a zero-turn lawn mower.
Work as part of a team and take direction.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

Must have valid drivers license with reliable transportation to and from the job site.
1 year of landscaping experience ideal.
Ability to operate various types of equipment associated with landscaping/grounds care.
Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Attention to detail and safe operation of all equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Frequent bending twisting/turning crouching lifting.
Ability to navigate diverse terrain.
Ability to work in intense heat.

Work Environment: Work is performed in an outdoor environment. Perform highly physical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions specifically very warm and hot weather. This role routinely is exposed to noise associated with groundskeeping/landscaping equipment.

Special Requirements: This position requires regular in-state travel with the ability to work 25-45 hours per week based on scheduled mowing route. This position will require travel between multiple job sites in the same day.
