Job Summary
- Perform traffic control and flagging duties on job sites and public/private roadways
- Use hand signals and traffic control devices to safely direct traffic
- Communicate with other Flaggers/TSTs via hand-held radios to manage two-way traffic
- Inform construction crews of traffic-related safety concerns
- Set up and remove warning signs barricades cones and detours
- Maintain a safe professional work zone at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments
- Availability to work nights weekends and travel out of town
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure in active traffic environments
- Valid state flagging certification preferred
- Company-provided flagger certification available FREE during April
- Reliable transportation
Additional Information :
- Seasonal part-time employment (spring through summer)
- Nights and weekends required
- Paid travel time and per diem for out-of-town assignments
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
