A premier luxury automotive dealership is seeking an experienced and high-performing General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead and develop a results-driven sales organization focused on customer experience profitability leadership and operational excellence.

This opportunity is ideal for an automotive leader with strong luxury or high-line dealership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands modern automotive retail digital sales strategy customer satisfaction and team development.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can drive performance develop people maintain accountability and elevate the dealerships overall sales culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all dealership sales operations and daily sales team performance
  • Drive new and pre-owned vehicle sales growth while maintaining profitability
  • Recruit train coach and develop high-performing automotive sales professionals
  • Monitor CRM activity internet lead management and digital retail processes
  • Work closely with BDC finance and executive leadership teams to maximize performance
  • Analyze KPIs sales reports inventory performance and operational metrics
  • Maintain strong focus on luxury customer experience and dealership reputation
  • Oversee desk management deal structure inventory management and sales process execution
  • Ensure accountability across follow-up appointment-setting and customer engagement processes
  • Foster a professional performance-oriented dealership culture

Qualifications

  • 5 years of automotive dealership management experience required
  • Previous experience as a General Sales Manager Sales Manager or Automotive Sales Director preferred
  • Luxury high-line or premium automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of driving automotive sales growth and dealership profitability
  • Strong leadership coaching and employee development abilities
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems internet sales digital retailing and lead management
  • Strong desk management and automotive inventory management experience
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and customer satisfaction focus
  • Experience building and managing high-performing automotive sales teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-accountability dealership environment
  • Strong communication leadership and organizational skills
  • Valid drivers license required
